2012 Research Surveys
As part of its objectives IMASMA is committed to providing a research and statistical centre and to publish statistics, case studies and to provide analysis on sales, marketing and communications within the maritime industry.
As its first major research project for 2012 IMASMA is conducting the largest ever survey of maritime supplier organisations’ attitudes to marketing, sales and promotion within the industry.
What are we asking?
This groundbreaking survey will question the maritime supplier community across a wide variety of sectors. The research will for the first time in the maritime industry give a clear picture of how marketing, sales and communications are approached by maritime suppliers: an insight into the events attended, marketing channels used, media read and the budgets assigned to these activities. Crucially it will also investigate the industries’ attitude to and use of digital marketing approaches and platforms, social and business media including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, and ask how well maritime suppliers believe their marketing initiatives are reaching the ship owners and operators they are targetting.
Maritime Suppliers can take the survey right here
If you are a maritime supplier you can take the survey right here on the website and it should take no more than 5-10 minutes of your time. All your answers are completely anonymous and we are very grateful to all those who take the time to complete the survey.
If you’d like to receive details of the research report then you can join IMASMA here, or alternatively email us if you have any questions about the research.
